Monte Nido - Briarcliff
Clementine Briarcliff Manor is a 10 bed eating disorder residential treatment center for adolescent girls ages 12 to 17. Treatment program includes Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Exercise Addiction.
Design objective: To renovate a 10,000.00 square foot residential home to accommodate all program requirements for group and individual therapy, art therapy, educating, wellness and health programs, business offices and relaxing.
The environment was to reflect Monte Nido’s vision and mission while maintaining the integrity of the original character of the building. CCI utilized corporate colors in a way that was both practical and fun.
Furniture is upholstered in crypton textiles for durability and maintainability. Although all of the furnishings are contract grade, the overall result is a very residential look.
Resident bedroom furniture is custom designed to fit in the bedrooms. The dining table is also custom to accommodate all of the girls for family style meals. The art & crafts room also serves as a classroom and large group activity room.
All group room and activity chairs have casters to allow flexibility and can be reorganized as needed by staff. Smaller private counseling rooms are more relaxed with sofas and loveseats. There are additional lounge areas for the girls just to gather together for friendship, bonding, fun and conversation.
